GEZA KALMAN VS. KWAN CHANG - MARCH 21ST - HAMILTON
The main event for PWA: "We Run this Town" will feature "The Asian Nightmare" Kwan Chang battling "Canada's Meanest Wrestler" Geza Kalman for the biggest prize in the Pure Wrestling Association, which is the Pure Wrestling Championship. Kwan who was raised on the mean streets of Hong Kong grew up a fighter; he had to be to survive. Learning how to strike over the years before coming to Canada provided to be very rewarding when he entered the professional wrestling ranks. Kwan's heavy kicks have left many laying and his favourite finishing manouver "The Near Death Experience" has been very effective in the past earning him Championships across North America.
"The Asian Nightmare" will be the bigger of the two wrestlers in the main event. Standing just over 6' tall and weighing 250 pounds. Geza Kalman, the reigning and defending Pure Wrestling Champion, stands 5'10 and weighs 260 pounds.
Geza Kalman's roots trail back to Hungry and for lack of better words ever since winning the Pure Wrestling Championship "Canada's Meanest Wrestler" seems even more hungy then when he was chasing the title. Geza learned the ropes from the Melenko's wrestling school in Florida. Well schooled in professional wrestling and then brought in to the world of Mixed Martial Arts by Dan Severn. Geza has fought in nearly 20 MMA fights with two of them being for the uber popular UFC. Geza is indeed the most winningest wrestler in the history of the Pure Wrestling Association. His loss record is a short list that has not been marked since January 30th, 2009 when he was disquailfied in a match with Robbie MacAlister. The last time Geza was pinned to lose a match was November 28th, 2008 when "Big Ticket" Reggie Marley pinned Geza to win the Pure Wrestling Championship in a 3 way match with Highlander Robbie MacAlister.
On March 21st, the past is indeed the past, but a new future will be written for both men. If Kwan Chang wins the Pure Wrestling Championship, he will become only the 9th man to do so in the near five years of the Pure Wrestling Association's history. Kwan will also become the first Asian man to hold the title if he is to indeed win it. If Geza Kalman can once again retain the Pure Wrestling Championship, a belt he has defended successfully ten times since winning, then he will be only one month away from a unpresidanted year reign as Champion.
The fans of the Pure Wrestling Association can expect to see these two men give everything they have to become or remain Pure Wrestling Champion. Two heavyweights both with well over 13 years of wrestling experience collide in what is one of the biggest and best main events in the history of the Pure Wrestling Association. "The Asian Nightmare" Kwan Chang and "Canada's Meanest Wrestler" Geza Kalman is your main event and will be for the Pure Wrestling Championship on March 21st in Hamilton, Ontario. |

GEZA KALMAN'S ASIAN NIGHTMARE
Geza Kalman might not be counting how long he has been Pure Wrestling Champion, but over here at PWAcanada.com we are!
Geza is the longest reigning Pure Wrestling Champion in the history of the company. His reign will be an impressive 11 months and 2 days old when he returns to Hamilton on March 21st. Not only is Geza's reign as Pure Wrestling Champion long, but he is tied for 2nd overall in defenses with 10. Geza has not lost a match since winning the title where as Eddie Osbourne who Geza is tied with in second has several DQ retains.
Commissioner Daryl Porteous has decided that Geza needs a big challenge on March 21st. Someone who is big, strong, and who has won championships all over North America.
That man, who might be able to defeat "Canada's Meanest Wrestler" for the Pure Wrestling Championship, or at least give Geza Kalman a run for his money is none other then "Asian Nightmare" Kwan Chang in Commissioner Daryl Porteous' mind.
This will be the a huge main event for "We run this town." Geza Kalman goes one on one the 6'5 260 pound "Asian Nightmare" Kwan Chang. Interesting fact: Kwan's nose was broken the first time these two wrestled years ago. Will it happen again? Will Kwan get revenge? |

DYNAMITE IMPACT
George Terzis wanted to get his hands on Kwan Chang at the "We run this town" event in Hamilton. Commissioner Daryl Porteous told George that he had another idea and that idea is for "Dynamite" George Terzis to go against "Impact" Eddie Osbourne.
This will be the first time that these two will ever cross paths. Eddie is a former 2 X Pure Wrestling Champion, former Tagteam Champion, former 2 X Pure Violence Champion and regarded as the blood that pumps through the Pure Wrestling Association.
George Terzis is a former Pure Violence Champion and one of the most dangerous strikers in the Pure Wrestling Association. George is considered to be a key component of the future of this company.
On March 21st will it be Dynamite or Impact that gets one step closer to the Pure Wrestling Championship? |

PUTTING A CHERRY ON TOP?
Cherry Bomb will indeed be looking to "put a cherry on top" of the Elite Womens Division on March 21st when she goes one on one with the current reigning and defending Elite Womens Champion Krystal Banks.
Cherry who hasn't been in the Pure Wrestling Association in some time is looking forward to her return and is very excited to have the opportunity to get a match with Krystal Banks for the Elite Womens Championship.
This should be a very good contest as both ladies know another very well and at one point where teaming up to form the Ditz and Glitz tagteam.
With a small womens presents in Ontario it soon turned into every female wrestler for themselves.
Will Cherry Bomb indeed put a cherry on top of her return? or will Krystal Banks remain Elite Womens Champion? |

RIP IMPACT TO MEET "THE TERRIBLE TURK" IN BATTLE
March 21st is shaping up to be a night of action packed wrestling. Boomers, located 229 Kenilworth Ave N, will be rocking as the Pure Wrestling Association presents "We Run this Town."
Just signed for this event is "The Epitome of Wrestling" Rip Impact to take on "The Terrible Turk" Turcan Celik.
Not only is Rip Impact very well known in his hometown of Hamilton, but Rip Impact is loved by the fans. When Rip comes to the ring, during his matches and even after his matches the fans are always chanting Rip Rip Rip! This home field advantage might be enough to edge Turcan Celik.
Then again maybe it won't be. Turcan Celik just recent won the Ohio Valley Wrestling Tagteam Championships with Mikey Mondo. Celik has been in the World Wrestling Entertainment Developmental systems and has learned from some of the very best. One thing that is also certain is the fans despise Turcan Celik. Notorious Tid fought Celik in Kitchener and the boos where thunderous towards "The Terrible Turk. Will Celik be able to defeat the hometown boy Rip Impact? Not if Rip has any say in it. |

JESSY JONES BATTLES A "SHOTGUN "
"The Sport" Jessy Jones is set to head to Boomers on March 21st to go one on one with Lance Storm's student "Shotgun" Brock Barker.
Not much is known about "Shotgun" Brock Barker, other then he is 6'5 and weighs in at around 235 pounds. Barker is trained by the legendary Lance Storm. Other then that Jessy Jones has nothing to go on.
"The Sport" is very well known in the Pure Wrestling Association. The only 4 time Internet Champion, as well as former Tagteam Champion, Jessy Jones is one of the most vile wrestlers on the roster.
If Barker was looking to make a huge splash in the Pure Wrestling Association he could do just that with a victory over Jessy Jones. You can bet your last dollar Jessy Jones will do everything he can to make sure he defeats the newcomer to the PWA ranks so he can climb back into the Championship ranks. |

PURE VIOLENCE CHAMPIONSHIP DEFENDED IN A 4 WAY
Super Kamikaze will have his hands full on March 21st when he defends the Pure Violence Championship in a fatal four way. A match where doesn't even need to be pinned to lose his title belt.
The opponents include Elian Habanero, Moondog Buddy and Joey Allen.
Joey Allen has never been in a Pure Violence match, but he is looking to change his luck as 2010 and late 2009 have not been to good to the youngster trying to break out.
Moondog Buddy is over 300 pounds of hard hitting action. Buddy who feels he was robbed of the Ontario Championship will be taking his frustrations out on his opponents.
Elian Habanero has been having green card issues to get into Canada, but the Cuban is set to return on March 21st and you know he doesn't care about Moondog or Joey Allen, Elian is obsessed with destroying Super Kamikaze. |

THE COMMISSIONER ADDS A NEW ELEMENT TO HAMILTON EVENT
Commissioner Daryl Porteous told PWAcanada.com that he wanted to shake things up a little bit for the Hamilton event on March 21st at Boomers; located 229 Kenilworth Ave North.
Apparently the commissioner was watching Lex Lugar slam Yokozunna on the USS Intrepid, because on March 21st the first ever PWA Bodyslam Challenge will take place.
If someone is able to slam newcomer TREMOR at the March 21st event they will win $100.00 right from the Commissioner's pocket!
Not much is known about TREMOR, but with a name like that we assume he is a massive man that could send shock waves thru the PWA. |
 |
HOLLYWOOD HUNKS SET TO DEFEND TAGTEAM TITLES
"The Hollywood Hunks" will be defending the Tagteam Championship belts on March 21st in Hamilton when PWA presents "We run this town."
"Custom Made" Markus Ryan and "The Stunner" Sean Ryker will be putting the Titles on the line against arch-rival "Big Ticket" Reggie Marley and his tagteam partner for this night Anthony Kingdom James.
This match is a direct result of the January 24th event in Hamilton. Kingdom was beaten by Sean Ryker in singles action when "Custom" helped his tag partner out. Later on in the night it was "Custom" vs. Reggie and it looked like "Custom" was in a whole lot of trouble. This bought out Ryker who intentionally got disqualified by attacking Reggie. A beat down took place, that was until Kingdom who was the victim earlier in the night ran to the ring to make the save.
Thus, Commissioner Daryl Porteous has signed "The Hollywood Hunks" vs. Reggie Marley and Kingdom James for March 21st. |
 |
"DYNAMITE" SET TO EXPLODE
George Terzis is known in the ring as one of the most explosive, hard hitting grapplers of all time. Hence his nickname "Dynamite."
Outside the ring, George is not known as a screamer or a shouter to get his way. George is know as a well liked guy who is really mellow and easy to get along with.
George defeated Kwan Chang at a recent Hamilton event for the PWA, but after the match Kwan assaulted George with his Kendo stick.
Since that day George has been wanting another chance to fight Kwan to get some revenge; so much that George made a call to Commissioner Daryl Porteous asking for the match at the upcoming March 21st event.
Commissioner Daryl Porteous however said no. Apparently Kwan is already set to wrestle someone else and George is going to have to wait. George didn't start any fuse or whine, he simply said, I feel sorry for whoever you put in the ring with me.
Who will be George Terzis' opponent on March 21st? Will George get any revenge on Kwan? Find out at Boomers in Hamilton on March 21. |

CAN "EZE" ERIC CAIRNIE DEFEAT SHAWN ARCTIC TO WIN TITLE?
Eric Cairnie has done very well in the Pure Wrestling Association. Already a multiple time Champion with reigns as Southern Ontario (retired by Elian), Internet and Tagteam title belts.
On January 24th, "EZE" defeated Jessy Jones to be named the number one contender for the Ontario Championship. The title currently held by "The Iceman" Shawn Arctic.
Now it is set and on March 21st these two great junior heavyweights will collide for the first time ever.
Arctic has proven he is one of the toughest men on the roster after surviving several grueling matches with Eddie Osbourne, the man who trained "EZE." |
 |
"SHOTGUN" BROCK BARKER SET TO DEBUT IN HAMILTON
March 21st is a big afternoon for the Pure Wrestling Association as it returns to Boomers, located 229 Kenilworth Ave N, in Hamilton, Ontario.
This event will include several title matches and several matches that could indeed be match of the year!
We will also see the debut of one of Lance Storm's students. Everyone knows Lance Storm as one of the best wrestlers in the world, and now people are saying he is one of the best trainers in the world.
"Shotgun" Brock Barker is planning on letting everyone know that he is indeed ready and that Lance is no doubt one of the best trainers in the world. "Shotgun" stands 6'5 and weighs in about 235 pounds.
There is no opponent currently being announced yet for Brock Barker, but you can bet he will be looking to make a very impressive first impression. |

JOEY ALLEN STEPPING UP
It was not too long ago that Joey Allen was the third man in the ring calling it down the line.
In the second half of the 2009 year Joey Allen had some great matches with Eddie Osbourne, Jessy Jones and Rip Impact.
Now with 2010 here Joey Allen is looking to step up even more and become a player in the Pure Wrestling Association. |

SHAWN ARCTIC IN BC NANAIMO NEWS ARTICLE
Nanaimo pro wrestler Shawn Arctic won a championship belt last month in Hamilton. But even better is the way he’s been received by fans since moving to Ontario this past summer.
At one recent show, he gave his sunglasses to a young fan. The next time Arctic showed up at the building, that same fan tracked him down and showed him that he was proudly wearing those same shades.
“That was probably the coolest experience I’ve ever had in the seven years I’ve been a wrestler,” Arctic said.
